COVID-19 Coronavirus Update
Desert Air Conditioning, Inc. is open and servicing customers following guidelines that have been set by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Our number one priority is to keep you and our employees safe, especially during this difficult time.
We are considered an essential business and are here for your comfort needs. Summer is right around the corner and living here in the Coachella Valley we can be faced with extreme heat several months throughout the year, air conditioning is a necessity, not a luxury.
We have put several procedures in place to keep you and our employees safe. We assure you that our technicians are under strict instruction to wash their hands regularly with hand sanitizer or warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds; they are avoiding touching their face including their eyes, nose, and mouth; our technicians are wearing gloves and masks as needed or requested; they will maintain a six-foot distance to adhere to the social distance guidelines; as calls are dispatched customers will be asked if they prefer to have the technician go to their door or call from their truck upon arrival; we are waiving the signature requirement on all dispatch tickets until further notice; when each service call is complete our technician will provide the customer with a copy of their dispatch ticket. The paperwork can be left with the customer, emailed or placed in a designated area and the technician can call from their truck when leaving the premises; if it is preferred, customers can call our office with credit card information for payment; we will not be allowed to go into any residence if we find it is occupied by anyone who has traveled outside the country in the past 14 days, experiencing serious respiratory symptoms, has been in contact with someone diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus, has a fever or cough.
If our employees are not feeling well, we are requiring them to stay home and seek medical attention consistent with CDC and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines.
This is an unprecedented time for everyone and is changing daily. We are committed to maintaining our high standard of service that we have been providing for 66 years.
